THE STORY
ELEPHANT IN A POND TABLE IS A GLASS COFFEE TABBLE, INSPIRED BY THE WORK OF SHIRO KURAMATA. THE TRANSPARENT GEOMETRIC SHAPES COME ALIVE BY THE PLAYFULNESS OF LIGHT. THE ROBUST SHAPE OF THE LEGS ARE IN CONTRAST WITH THE LIGHTNESS OF THE MATERIAL, MAKING THE OBJECT ELEGANTLY STRONG YET LIGHT AT THE SAME TIME.
“THE COMPOSITION IS THE RESULT OF EXPERIMENTING WITH BASIC SHAPES AND PROPORTIONS, LETTING LIGHT TO DO ITS JOB DELICATELY DANCING IN THE REFLECTIONS.”
