Mixed technique: screen printing, dyeing, volumetry raising by embossed structures, papier maché, textile handling, perforation, pyroprinting.
100% hand crafted from zero by the artist. Build process takes between 2-3 weeks; please allow extra time for custom orders (materials and dimensions can be customized upon request). No two pieces will be the same, because each piece is 100% unique. Due to the nature of the material, the coloring may vary slightly from the photos.

ABOUT THE ARTIST
At the base of these artistic creations is the textile material, which creates perhaps the strongest intimacy relationship with the human body, coming into contact with our skin daily.
For Laura, the fabric and the textile yarn have become the indispensable means of artistic expression for the transmission of ideas. The fabric has exceeded its strictly utilitarian value and has become an artistic material, loaded with meanings, abstract concepts and emotion. This material is metamorphosed into the channel through which some fundamental themes for the history of mankind are addressed.
On the one hand, social-political issues, such as the global phenomenon of migration, are debated, in which the fabric seems to look like an eroded crust. Also spiritual states, such as human suffering, is revealed by the ancestral symbol of the butterfly.
