Catalin Filip is a distinguished ceramic artist and architect based in Hastings, United Kingdom. His artistic journey is deeply rooted in the exploration of natural forms and the inherent qualities of clay. Graduating from the “Ion Mincu” University of Architecture and Urban Planning in 2014, Filip has since established himself as a prominent figure in the contemporary ceramics scene.

Filip’s work is characterized by a unique approach to ceramics that emphasizes the natural response of clay to gravitational forces. He manipulates the material through bending, pulling, and stretching, aiming to capture its fluidity and transform it into stone-like forms.
